Whitney Hall at The Kentucky Center Customers Reviews
Great show! Highly recommend!
I saw the original Riverdance and this 25th Anniversary edition. Both performances were excellent. In this performance, the choreography integrating the different styles of dance (e.g. tap dance and Irish dance) was excellent. Another difference, I think, is in that traditional Irish dance the upper body does not move. In this performance I think some of the Irish numbers involved upper body movement, which was nice for the American audience as it was more familiar to us, but not traditional from an Irish dance viewpoint. All of the performances were excellent. A BIG difference was the 3-D backgrounds which were stunning, thanks to the use of newer technology.
